Shine the Light

The Shine the Light campaign is a registered trademark campaign created by the London Abused Women's Centre. The campaign began in 2010 as a small, grassroots effort within our local community. It has since become nationally and internationally recognized.

Each year, the Shine the Light campaign raises awareness to the issue of violence against women by turning communities purple for the month of November. Participants show their solidarity with women and girls and support them in understanding that any shame and/or blame they may feel does not belong to them but the perpetrators of their abuse.

Women need to know they have a community and support behind them.

Congratulations to our 50/50 Raffle Winner!
